Analysis of designed curriculum of pre-primary education in Ireland with focus on Physical Education and Health Education

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou projektového kurikula předškolního vzdělávání v Irsku. V teoretické části je rozebrána problematika kurikula, jeho formy a roviny. Dále je zde uvedena stručná rešerše týkající se výzkumu kurikula. Závěr kapitoly je věnován oblasti předškolního vzdělávání. Metodická část definuje cíl bakalářské práce. Je zde také pojednáno o sběru a zpracování dat, které byly k analýze využity. Ve výsledkové části se práce zaměřuje na pomocnou analýzu, ve které je stručně charakterizována Irská republika a popsán irský školský vzdělávací systém. Předposlední kapitola bakalářské práce se věnuje hlavní analýze, čili analýze irského vzdělávacího dokumentu. V několika podkapitolách jsou rozebrány jeho jednotlivé části, které jsou doplněny o přehledné tabulky uvedené v příloze. V závěrečné kapitole je provedeno zhodnocení irského vzdělávacího dokumentu a jsou zdůrazněny hlavní rozdíly mezi tímto dokumentem a jeho českým ekvivalentem. několika podkapitolách jsou rozebrány jeho jednotlivé části, které jsou doplněny o přehledné tabulky uvedené v příloze. V závěrečné kapitole je provedeno zhodnocení irského vzdělávacího dokumentu a jsou zdůrazněny hlavní rozdíly mezi tímto dokumentem a jeho českým ekvivalentem.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the designed curriculum of pre-school education in Ireland. The theoretical part is focused on the description of the term curriculum, and its forms and levels. There is also a brief summary of curriculum research. The end of the chapter is devoted to the area of pre-school education. The methodological part defines the goal of the bachelor thesis. It also describes collecting and processing of the data used in the analysis. In the results part, the thesis focuses on the secondary analysis in which the Repubic of Ireland is briefly characterized and the Irish school education system is described. The following chapter of the thesis deals with the primary analysis, which is the analysis of the Irish curricula document. In several sections its individual parts are analysed. The analysis is supplemented with clear tables listed in the appendix. The final chapter evaluates the Irish curriculum document and emphasizes the main differences between the analysed document and its Czech equivalent.
