The conception of teacher’s authority from students’ and teachers’ points of view in lower secondary schools

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá autoritou pedagoga z pohledu učitelů a žáků 2. stupně základních škol. Práce je zaměřena nejen na tradiční základní školy běžného vzdělávacího proudu, ale také na daltonské školy. Práce je rozdělena tradičně na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy a také hledány souvislosti mezi autoritou a výchovou, kázní či asertivitou. V praktické časti jsou prezentovány výsledky výzkumu, který byl realizován pomocí dotazníků. Cílem naší bakalářské práce bude objasnění pohledů žáků a učitelů na autoritu pedagoga a jejich vzájemné porovnání.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with teacher’s authority from teachers’ and students’ points of view in lower secondary schools. The thesis is focused not only on traditional basic schools but also on Dalton schools. The thesis is traditionally divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part introduces basic concepts as well as finds connections between authority and education, discipline or assertivity. There are represented results of our research, which was realized by means of questionnaires. The aim of our thesis is to clarify teachers’ and pupils’ views of teacher’s authority and their mutual comparison.
