Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku analyzování a vyhodnocování klíčových faktorů vnějšího prostředí s využitím strategických analýz. Využita byla i analýza hodnotového řetězce za účelem specifikace faktorů majících rozhodující vliv v produkčním procesu testované společnosti ČD Cargo, a.s., která je v současné době lídrem na trhu nákladní železniční dopravy na území České republiky. Z výstupů získaných ze strategických analýz na vybraném podniku lze konstatovat dominantní postavení politicko-právních faktorů v rámci PEST analýzy. U Porterova modelu pěti sil byly za nejvýznamnější faktory indikovány substituční produkty. Analýza konkurence prokázala, že aktuální i budoucí postavení ČD Cargo, a.s., na daném trhu nebude ohroženo. Analýza hodnotového řetězce prokázala nutnost harmonizace celého hodnototvorného procesu a nezbytnost zvýšit důraz na integritu jeho jednotlivých faktorů s akcentem na rozvoj lidských zdrojů. Závěr práce obsahuje diskuzi výsledků včetně návrhů opatření, které byly prodiskutovány s vedením podniku.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on analysis and evaluation of key factors of the external environment with use of strategic analyses. The analysis of value chain was used as well in order to specify factors which have significant impact on the production process of the tested enterprise ČD Cargo, a.s., which is currently leader on the rail freight market in the Czech Republic. According to outputs of the strategic analysis used on the chosen company, it is possible to state the dominant position of political-legal factors within the PEST analysis. For Porter´s five strength model, substitution products were found out as the most important factors. Competition analysis proved that the current and future position of ČD Cargo, a.s., on the given market will not be threatened. The analysis of the value chain has demonstrated the necessity of harmonizing the whole value-making process and the need to increase the emphasis on the integrity of its individual factors with an emphasis on human resources development. The conclusion of the thesis contains discussion of the results, including proposals and measures that were discussed with the management of the enterprise.
