Human Resources Management Hotel Audit

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá řízením lidských zdrojů ve vybraném hotelu, respektive jeho auditováním na základě jednotlivých personálních činností. Cílem práce je poskytnout ucelené hodnocení řízení lidských zdrojů v podniku, odhalit jeho případné nedostatky a navrhnout jejich řešení. Práce je členěna do tří částí: První, teoretická, definuje nejprve za pomoci odborné literatury pojem řízení lidských zdrojů a objasňuje hlavní činnosti, ze kterých se skládá. Dále definuje pojem auditu, jeho zařazení, použití a metody, kterými se provádí. Druhá část, metodologická, vytyčuje konkrétní metody a postup auditu pro zkoumaný podnik a stanovuje hodnotící metodologii pro celkové zhodnocení provádění řízení lidských zdrojů. Ve třetí, praktické části, je nejprve blíže představena zkoumaná instituce a poté zdokumentován průběh samotného auditu podle vytyčené metodologie a následně představeny jeho výsledky dle hodnotících kritérií. V závěru práce jsou vytyčeny oblasti řízení lidských zdrojů, kde byly zjištěny nedostatky, a jsou navrhnuta konkrétní opatření na jejich řešení.

Abstract:

This Master’s thesis deals with human resources management and its auditing based on human resources functions of a hotel. The aim of the thesis is to provide a general evaluation of human resources management in the audited company, discover possible insufficiencies and design solutions to address them. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first, theoretical part defines the concept of human resources management based on the research of adequate literature and outlines the main human resources functions. It then moves onto defining the concept of an audit, its purpose and methods used for its conduction. The second, methodological part outlines the actual methods to be used for the audit conduction in the hotel’s particular case and defines the general human resources management evaluation method. In the third, practical part, after introducing the audited company, it describes the steps of the audit conduction, followed by the presentation of the findings and the general evaluation of the human resources management. It concludes with outlining the identified insufficiencies and a presentation of possible solutions to be carried out to address them.
