Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této práce je navrhnout obecně použitelný výpočetní model pro technicko-ekonomickou simulaci nestabilního zdroje energie v kombinaci s ukládáním energie. Výpočtení model využívá reálná data s hodinovým rozlišením pro výrobu a spotřebu elektřiny, specifické paramentry pro vybrané technologie skladování a náklady na výrobu elektřiny. Jsou vypočteny technické požadavka, zejména požadovaná skladovací kapacita a souhrnný počet kompletních ročních skladovacích cyklů. Jednotlivé systémy skladování energie lze sestavit jako sériové nebo paralelní prvky (třídy skladování), takže je možné libovolné propojení několika technologií skladování. Individuální náklady pro každou ze zvolených tříd jsou vypočteny na základě metriky LCOS (Levelised Cost of Storage). Kombinace technických a finančních aspektů nakonec umožňuje celkové vyhodnocení systému a odhad nákladů na zásobování elektřinou na bázi větrné a solární energie. Jako příklad jsou použity vstupní údaje z německé soustavy zásobování elektrickou energií z let 2012-2018. Výsledné celkové náklady systému jsou dány jako funkce nákladů na výrobu elektřiny LCOE (Levelised Cost of Electricity( od 0.02 do 0.10 e/(kW h). Při vyšším LCOE dosahuje sériový model výpočtu nižších nákladů , zatímco při nižším LCOE se jako ekonomicky výhodnější ukazuje semiparalelní model. Nákladově nejefektivnější konfiguraci modelu představuje sériové uspořádání třídy skladování s výslednými náklady 0.195 e/(kW h) na základě 0.02 e/(kW h) pro nákup elektřiny. Ostatní konfigurace v rámci parametrických studií poskytují až 0.40 e/(kW h). Z toho vyplývá, že z dnešního pohledu celkové systémové náklady na vysoce nestabilní dodávky elektřiny násobně převyšují náklady na čistou výrobu elektřiny.

Abstract:

The primary objective of this work is to develop a generally applicable calculation model for the techno-economic simulation of a volatile power supply in combination with en-ergy storage. The model uses hourly resolved real data for electricity generation and consumption, specific parameters for selected storage technologies, and the electricity production costs. The technical requirements are calculated, in particular the required storage capacity and the cumulative complete annual storage cycles. The individual en-ergy storage systems can be mapped either as serial or parallel elements (storage classes), so that any interconnection of several storage technologies is possible. The individual costs for each of the selected classes are calculated based on the LCOS metric (Levelised Cost of Storage). The combination of the technical and financial aspects finally enables an overall system evaluation and an estimation of the costs for a power supply based on wind power and solar power. Input data from the years 2012-2018, from the Ger-man electricity supply system, are used as an example. The resulting total system costs are given as a function of the Electricity generation costs LCOE (Levelised Cost of Elec-tricity) from 0.02 to 0.10 e/(kW h). At higher LCOE, the serial calculation model delivers lower system costs, while at lower LCOE, the semi-parallel modelling turns out to be eco-nomically more favourable. The most cost-effective model configuration is represented by a serial storage class arrangement with resulting costs of 0.195 e/(kW h) on the basis of 0.02 e/(kW h) for electricity procurement. Other configurations within the parameter studies deliver up to 0.40 e/(kW h). It is concluded from this that, from today’s perspec-tive, the total system costs of a highly volatile power supply exceed the pure electricity generation costs by a multiple.
