Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá životem a působením známého ostravského komunisty Hynka Kožušníka. Sleduje jeho cestu od mladého kontoristy a člena radikálního křídla ČSSD, přes vstup do KSČ, až ke kariérnímu vzestupu v průběhu 30. let, kdy se ve straně začal postupně uplatňovat jako funkcionář. Na počátku války přešel s ostatními členy organizace do ilegality, ale byl vyzrazen a většinu válečných let strávil ve vězení.

Abstract:

The submitted diploma thesis deals with the life and work of the famous Ostrava communist Hynek Kožušník. He follows his path from a young office worker and member of the radical wing of the CSSD, through joining the Communist Party (KSČ), to his career rise during the 1930s, when he gradually began to work as a functionary in the party. At the beginning of the war, he went underground with the other members of the organization, but he was betrayed and spent most of the war in prison.
