Abstract:

Téma této bakalářské práce je Zdravotně postižení a jejich obraz v regionálních médiích. Teoretická část obecně popisuje postoje intaktní skupiny k osobám se zdravotním postižením v současnosti, upozorňuje na některá právní východiska, týkající se integrace této skupiny obyvatel a naplňování jejich práv. Přibližuje aktivity organizací osob se zdravotním postižením a zamýšlí se nad situací lidí, kteří se musejí vyrovnávat se svým vrozeným či získaným handicapem, popřípadě se sekundárními důsledky postižení. Dále se tato část věnuje i mediální oblasti, která je důležitým spolutvůrcem názorů veřejnosti. S ohledem na téma práce se zde objevuje základní charakteristika médií se zaměřením na tisk, funkci informace, práci novináře, poslání žurnalistiky a etiku novinářské práce. Účelem praktické části je popsat a porovnat metodou kvantitativní obsahové analýzy podobu prezentace informací, které se týkají osob se zdravotním postižením ve vybraných regionálních periodikách v Moravskoslezském kraji, tematické zaměření těchto informací a jejich četnost.

Abstract:

The topic of this Bachelor thesis is Disabled people and their image in regional media. Theoretical part describes current attitude of the intact group to disabled people, draws attention to some legal citations concerning integration of this group and meeting their rights. It describes activities of the organizations created by disabled people and speculates about the situation of people who must settle with thein inborn or gained handicap and secondary results of disability. It also addresses media, because of their important role in creating public oppinion, focused at printed media, work of a reporter, function of information and the mission of journalism and its etics. The purpose of practical part is, using quantitative content analysis, to describe and compare form of presenting given information about disabled people shown in chosen Moravian-Silesian media, thematic focus and their frequency.
