Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na zjištění vlivu národní kultury na způsob komunikace, spolupráce a obchodu mezi českými a zahraničními zástupci nadnárodních společností v České republice a Německu. Teoretická část práce je věnována vymezení stěžejních teoretických poznatků týkajících se interkulturního managementu, komunikace a způsobů jednání dle nejnovějších poznatků a studií v daných oborech. V této části práce jsou také definovány pojmy globalizace, internacionalizace, národní kultura, interkulturní komunikace, mezinárodní management a tyto pojmy jsou zpracovány dle různých teoretických přístupů. Praktická část se vztahuje k vlastnímu výzkumu, provedenému v české firmě s mezinárodní působností, která přichází do kontaktu zejména s německou kulturou. Na základě nalezení společných prvků a rozdílů mezi vlastním výzkumem a teoretickými poznatky jsou navržena konkrétní opatření a řešení pro obchodní společnost a vyčíslen poměr mezi náklady na vzdělání a ztrátami společnosti z neuskutečněných prodejů vzniklých z neznalosti kulturních odlišností a interkulturního managementu.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the influence of the national culture on the way of communication, cooperation and trade between the Czech and foreign representatives of multinational companies in the Czech Republic and Germany. The theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of fundamental theoretical knowledge on intercultural management, communication and behaviour according to the latest findings and studies in the respective fields. In this section there are also defined other terms such as globalization, internationalization, national culture, intercultural communication, international management; and these concepts are processed by different theoretical approaches. The practical part is related to their own research, carried out in the Czech company with international connections, especially those with the German culture. On the basis of common elements and differences between their own research and theoretical knowledge there are proposed concrete measures and solutions for the company as well as quantified the relationship between costs on education and unrealized loss from sales resulting from ignorance of cultural diversity and intercultural management.
