Development of agricultural holding after the accession of the Czech Republic into the EU

Abstract:

Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je pomocí finanční analýzy posoudit vývoj hospodaření a finanční zdraví vybraného ekonomického subjektu, který podniká v zemědělství, v časovém horizontu posledních osmi let. Je posouzena nutnost dotací pobíraných podnikem v letech 2005 až 2012 a tyto dotace jsou blíže specifikovány. V práci jsou popsány zdroje dat pro finanční analýzu, metody výpočtu poměrových ukazatelů a bankrotních a bonitních modelů. Je popsána konkrétní firma a následně práce aplikuje metody finanční analýzy na tomto vybraném podniku za účelem zhodnotit finanční zdraví podniku a jeho další možný vývoj. Zároveň je podnik porovnán s nejbližším velkým konkurentem pomocí spider analýzy. Nakonec jsou shrnuty výsledky získané z finanční analýzy a ze zjištěných informací jsou vyvozeny závěry.

Abstract:

The main topic of this Diploma Thesis is through financial analysis to evaluate the economic development and financial health in the last time horizon of eight years of selected economic entity which operates in the agricultural sector. The thesis also assesses the need for grants which company received in the years 2005 to 2012, and these grants are further specified. The thesis describes sources of data for financial analysis, calculation methods of indicators and bankruptcy and credibility models. The next chapter describes specific company, Cooperative Farm "Růžový palouček", and subsequently are applied methods of financial analysis to the selected company. Thereby is evaluating its financial health and an is estimating of future development. At the same using the spider analysis is made a comparison with the nearest large competitor. At the end are summarized the results obtained from the financial analysis and from the gathered information are drawn the conclusions.
