Abstract:
Práce se zabývá otázkou veřejného zdraví, sociálních determinant zdraví, zdravotní gramotností a vztahem mezi socioekonomickým statusem a zdravím. Nerovnosti ve zdraví jsou chápány jako rozdíly mezi sociálními skupinami, zejména ve vnímání zdraví jako hodnoty. Pozornost je věnována osobnímu přístupu ke zdraví jako kapitálu.
