This bachelor thesis deals with the functional analysis of promotional texts, their translation into the Czech language and its subsequent commentary. The source texts are excerpts from the home pages of US intelligence and law enforcement organizations: the CIA and FBI. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá funkční analýzou propagačních textů, jejich překladem do českého jazyka a následným komentářem. Zdrojovými texty jsou výňatky z domovských stránek amerických zpravodajských a policejních organizací: CIA a FBI.
