Implementation of SFA and EDI Solutions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá implementacemi řešení EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) a SFA (Sales Force Automation) do podnikového prostředí a jejími vlivy na ekonomiku a obchodní procesy. Detailně jsou rozebrány principy fungování obou řešení a jejich vazba na centrální informační systém. Dále jsou v práci popisovány zkušenosti, praktické problémy a rizika z reálných implementačních projektů i správy obou řešení. Formou případové studie je provedena kvalifikovaná kalkulace investice do implementací včetně její návratnosti a na konkrétním případu jsou vypočteny provozní náklady obou řešení ve srovnání s provozními náklady bez těchto řešení. V práci je graficky znázorněna struktura ceny na odeslání jednoho dokladu přes EDI v porovnání s papírovou formou. Důraz je kladen na případy, v jakých se implementace řešení vyplatí a na co je třeba zaměřit pozornost před, po i během implementace. Závěrečná část diplomové práce se zabývá modelováním a simulací procesů, ze které jsou vyvozeny závěry.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with implementations of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and SFA (Sales Force Automation) solutions into the business environment and theirs impact to the economy and business processes of company. In this thesis are discussed in detail the principles of operation both solutions and thein relation to the central informatik system. The work describes experiences, practical problems and risks from real implementation projects and management of both solutions. The work includes a case study to calculate investment costs of implementation, including its return. On the specific case are calculated operating costs of the two solutions compared to operating costs without these solutions. In the work is graphically elaborated structure of prices to send a document via EDI in comparison with the paper form. Accent is placed on cases in which implementations of solutions can be justified and chat must be considered before, during and after implementation. The final part of thesis deals with the proces models, which emphasize process chase after implementations and at the same time the simulation of processes is created, again compared before and after implementations, from which conclusions are drawn.
