She and he: Gender stereotypes in artistic expression in teenagers.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce má za úkol sledovat genderové stereotypy ve výtvarném projevu u teenagerů. Teoretická část se zabývá upřesněním významů gender a genderové stereotypy a zmapováním jednotlivých stereotypních genderových symbolů ve výtvarném projevu u předškolních dětí až po teenagery. Dále se zaměří na chápání genderových rolí v životě. Hlavní (praktická) část této diplomové práce bude spočívat v realizaci výtvarného projektu, při kterém se výrazně projeví symboly a znaky genderových stereotypů u jednotlivých žáků.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is aimed at the observation of gender stereotypes in teenagers' artistic expression. The theoretical part deals with the specification of the meaning of gender and gender stereotype and the mapping of individual stereotyped gender symbols in artistic expression in pre-school children to teenagers. It also focuses on the impact of the social environment to understanding of gender roles in life. The main (practical) part of this diploma thesis will consist in the realization of an art project, in which the symbols and features of gender stereotypes are manifested in individual pupils.
