Library projects for buillding relationship between generations in the community of patrons.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se bude zabývat mezigeneračními vztahy v rámci komunity uživatelů knihoven a jejich podporou prostřednictvím projektů zaměřených na nenásilné propojení různých generací. V teoretické části se zaměříme zejména na různé generace uživatelů z hlediska pedagogicko-psychologického s přihlédnutím k vývojové psychologii. Popíše také standardně používané metody působení na uživatele knihoven. Na několika názorných příkladech z praxe si pak předvedeme, které metody a aspekty z teorie byly využity, popíšeme dané projekty. Následně se aplikací teoretických poznatků, ale i s přihlédnutím k praktickým zkušenostem pozitivním i negativním, pokusíme navrhnout vlastní projekty spojující uživatele knihoven napříč generacemi.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on relationship between different generations in the community of patrons and the way how to support this relationship by projects focused on interconnecting different generations. The theoretical part is mainly focused on different generations of patrons from pedagogic and psychological point of view taking into account developmental psychology. The common methods for supporting patrons are described. A few examples from practice will help to show which methods and aspects from theory were used, and these projects will be described. Finally, our own projects interconnecting patrons of different generations will be outlined by applying theoretical findings and by taking into account both positive and negative experience.
