International Comparison of Social Work with Family - Czech Republic and The Netherlands

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá mezinárodním srovnáním sociální práce s rodinou, a to dvou zemí ? České republiky a Nizozemska. Práce pojednává o metodách a technikách použitelných při práci s rodinou. Toto srovnání je rozděleno na teoretickou část a část praktickou. V teoretické části je rozpracována kapitola o rodině, její důležitosti pro společnost, jaké zastává funkce a jak se pozná rodina nefunkční od rodiny funkční. Další kapitola práce je zaměřena na analýzu obou společností z různých hledisek. Navazuje popis sociální práce a sociální práce s rodinou u obou zemí. Zaměření je především na její organizaci a charakteristiku. V dalších kapitolách teoretické části jsou představeny techniky, které vycházejí z jednotlivých přístupů rodinné terapie, a následují rozpracované metody využitelné v sociální práci s rodinou. V praktické části jsou na základě srovnání jedné organizace domácí a jedné zahraniční popsány společné rysy a rozdíly v praxi sociální práce a sociální práce s rodinou. Pro toto srovnání bylo využito kvalitativních metod sběru dat.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with an international comparison of social work with families in two countries - the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. It deals with methods and techniques applicable in work with a family. The comparison is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part elaborates on the chapter which concentrates on a family, its importance to society, its function and it also shows how to differenciate a functional family from a dysfunctional one. Next chapter is dedicated to the description of the two societies from different perspectives. It is followed by the description of social work and social work with families in both countries. The focus is primarily on the work organization and characteristics. In other chapters of the theoretical part are introduced techniques based on various approaches to family therapy followed by methods developed to be used in social work with families. Based on the comparison of one home and one foreign organisation the practical part describes common features and differences in practical social work. For this comparison were used qualitative methods of data collection.
