Abstract:

Bakalářská práce uvádí zpracování účetní závěrky ve vybraném podniku. Účetní závěrka je nedílnou součástí správného ukončení účetního roku účetních jednotek vedoucích účetnictví a předchází jí celá řada činností. Zpracování bakalářské práce tvoří dvě části, teoretická a aplikační. Teoretická část popisuje jednotlivé kroky účetní uzávěrky a po ní následující účetní závěrky. Tato část se také věnuje účetním výkazům a závěrečným činnostem účetní závěrky, jako je audit a výroční zpráva. V závěru této části je stanoven výzkumný problém, na který je následně zaměřena aplikační část. Ta detailně popisuje vybraný podnik, jeho způsob vedení účetnictví a v prvé řadě způsob zpracování účetní závěrky spolu s rozborem jednotlivých výkazů. Detailně rozebírá rozvahu, výkaz zisků a ztrát, a výsledek hospodaření v 5 předcházejících letech, tedy od roku 2013 do roku 2017. V závěru práce jsou zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky a doporučeny návrhy opatření.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis presents the processing of financial statements in a selected company. The financial statements are an integral part of the accounting year-end closure of the accounting entity and it is preceded by a number of activities. The bachelor thesis consists of two parts, the theoretical and the application part. The theoretical part describes the steps of the financial closing and the subsequent activities of the financial statements. This section also discusses financial reports and final financial statements, such as audits and annual reports. The research problem is determined at the end of this part and the application part is targeted to it. The selected company is described in details, the way of bookkeeping and, first of all, the method of processing the financial statements together with the analysis of the individual reports. Also, the application part analyzes the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and the economic result (profit/loss) for the previous five years, i.e. from 2013 to 2017. The research questions are answered at the end of this thesis and suggestions for action are recommended there.
