The use of digital technologies in the work activities of high school teachers

Abstract:

Tématem bakalářské práce je využití digitálních technologií v oblasti vzdělávání a použití digitálních technologií učiteli středních odborných škol. Konkrétním cílem bakalářské práce je seznámit se, popsat, rozvrhnout a interpretovat využívání digitálních technologií v pracovních činnostech učitelů středních odborných škol. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje popis základních pojmů z oblasti digitálních technologií a didaktiky. Do teoretické části jsou zakomponovány výhody z pohledu učitelů, celkové nevýhody digitálních technologií a nevýhody e – learningu. Teoretická část je zakončena výhledem do budoucnosti v souvislosti s digitálními technologiemi a strategií vzdělávací politiky České republiky do roku 2030+. Empirická část obsahuje popis výzkumného šetření, které bylo zaměřeno na hledání odpovědi na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: Jakým způsobem využívají učitelé středních odborných škol digitální technologie ve svých pracovních činnostech? Jako hlavní metoda sběru dat v rámci empirického šetření byla zvolena metoda hloubkového polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Respondenty bylo 5 učitelů, působící na střední škole pro tělesně postižené.

Abstract:

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the use of digital technologies in education and the use of digital technologies by high vocational school teachers. The specific goal of the bachelor's thesis is to get acquainted, describe, schedule and interpret the use of digital technologies in the work activities of high vocational school teachers. The work is divided into theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part contains a description of basic concepts in the field of digital technologies and didactics. The theoretical part incorporates the advantages from the perspective of teachers, the overall disadvantages of digital technologies and the disadvantages of e-learning. The theoretical part ends with a view to the future in connection with digital technologies and the strategy of educational policy of the Czech Republic until 2030+. The empirical part contains a description of a research survey, which was focused on finding an answer to the main research question: How do high vocational school teachers use digital technology in their work activities? The method of in-depth semi-structured interview was chosen as the main method of data collection within the empirical survey. The respondents were 5 teachers working at a high school for the disabled.
