Examination of professional competencies of employees of social and legal protection of children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice zkoumání profesních kompetencí pracovníků sociálně právní ochrany dětí. V teoretické části jsou reflektovány oblasti sledované problematiky se zaměřením na obecnou charakteristiku kompetencí průřezových (pro všechny obory stejné) a segmentových (specifických). Dále se zaobírá oblastí sociálně právní ochrany dětí. Praktickou část tvoří výsledky dotazníkového šetření zaměřeného na zjišťování úrovně profesních kompetencí dle metodiky Ministerstva práce a sociálních věcí pro optimalizaci systému vzdělávání pracovníků OSPOD (Šíp & Hájková, 2019) u vybraného souboru 51 pracovníků sociálně právní ochrany dětí vycházející z jejich sebehodnocení pro soubor padesáti kompetencí. Cílem výzkumného šetření je posoudit vlastní ohodnocení úrovně profesních kompetencí u pracovníků sociálně právní ochrany dětí. Na základě výzkumu jsou formulovány závěry a doporučení, která budou využitelná v praxi sociální pedagogiky a dalších disciplín pomáhajících profesí.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of researching the professional competences of social and legal protection of children workers. The theoretical part reflects the areas of the monitored issue with a focus on the general characteristics of cross-cutting (the same for all disciplines) and segmental (specific) competences. It also deals with the area of social and legal protection of children.The practical part consists of the results of a questionnaire survey aimed at determining the level of professional competences according to the methodology of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs for the optimization of the system of training of OSPOD workers (Šíp & Hájková, 2019) in a selected group of 51 social and legal protection of children workers based on their self-assessment for a set of fifty competences. The aim of the research is to assess the self-assessment of the level of professional competences of child social protection workers. On the basis of the research, conclusions and recommendations are formulated that will be useful in the practice of social pedagogy and other disciplines of helping professions.
