The aspects influencing a family life with child with atypical autism.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se ve svém obsahu zaměřuje na vliv diagnózy poruchy autistického spektra. Tato diagnóza ovlivňuje život celé rodiny, která pečuje o takto handicapované dítě. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat vybrané faktory ovlivňující kvalitu života rodiny s takto handicapovaným dítětem. V teoretické části práce se seznamujeme s pojmem porucha autistického spektra, s etiologií, projevy a klasifikací tohoto onemocnění. Věnujeme se taktéž úloze a významu rodiny pro vývoj a život dítěte. Největší pozornost je však věnována faktorům ovlivňujícím život rodiny, která pečuje o dítě s poruchou autistického spektra. Konkrétně typu a míře (hloubce) zdravotního postižení, době péče o dítě, vztahovým pojetím v rodině, socioekonomické úrovni rodiny, vzděláváním se ve škole a poradenským zařízením. V navazující praktické části práce jsou sledovány tyto faktory ve vybrané rodině. Nejprve je prezentována kazuistika chlapce s poruchou autistického spektra, která je následně doplněna rozhovory s členy rodiny. V závěru jsou shrnuty zjištěné informace, které potvrzují, že uvedená diagnóza do jisté míry ovlivňuje život celé rodiny, která je však schopna se přizpůsobit a o takto handicapované dítě pečovat.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on influence of diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. This diagnosis influences life of the whole family that is taking care of child with such handicap. The goal of the bachelor thesis is to analyze chosen factors influencing life quality of family having a child with such handicap. In theoretical part of the thesis we operate with the term disorder of autism spectrum and then with its etiology, manifestations and classification. We also deal with the importance of family for the development and life of the child. Most attention is given to the factors that influence the life of family that is taking care of child with disorder of autism spectrum. Tangibly to the type and measure of handicap, time needed for care of the child, relationships in the family, socio-economic status of the family, education of child in school and counseling centers. Subsequent part of the thesis is practical and it deals with observation of these factors in selected family. As first is presented casuistry of the boy with autism spectrum disorder that is consequently complemented by interviews of family members from observed family. Discovered information are located in the conclusion of practical part of the thesis. These information confirm that mentioned diagnosis is in some measure influencing life of the whole family that is however able to adapt and raise and take care of child with such disorder.
