Activating teaching methods in English language teaching

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Aktivizující výukové metody v hodinách anglického jazyka na základní škole“ pojednává o problematice výukových metod, se zaměřením na metody aktivizující. Teoretická část obsahuje definice a klasifikace výukových metod, celkový přehled metod aktivizujících včetně tvořivého vyučování a popisu zavádění aktivizujících metod do výuky. Praktická část se zabývá zkoumáním toho, zda učitelé používají aktivizující výukové metody, a pokud ano, tak jaké. Diplomová práce obsahuje také návrh vhodných aktivity, které lze použít ve výuce anglického jazyka.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis „Activating teaching methods in English language teaching“ deals with problems of teaching methods with focus on activating methods. The theoretical part consists of definitions and classifications of teaching methods, general overview of activating methods including creative teaching and the description of putting these methods into the practice. The empirical part deals with the research of using activating methods, if teachers use these methods, which of them and how often. The diploma thesis contains also the suggestion of some activities that can be used in English language teaching.
