Lifestyle patients with Crohn´s disease

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce je metodou kazuistiky popsat rozdíl v životním stylu u pacientů s Crohnovou nemocí před diagnostiku a dále pak v průběhu nemoci. Metodika: Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V teoretické části se věnuji charakteristice onemocnění, popisuji jeho příčiny a příznaky, kterými se projevuje. Dále se zaměřuji na léčbu, a to jak na dietoterapii, tak na farmakologickou a chirurgickou léčbu, neopomínám ani léčbu biologickou. Empirická část je zpracována formou dvou kazuistik. Kazuistika je vhodný způsob pro ukázku případu. Kazuistiky jsou zaměřeny na životní styl dvou vybraných klientů před diagnostikou Crohnovy nemoci a dále pak v průběhu nemoci. Sběr informací probíhal formou rozhovorů s klienty. Doplňující informace byly získány z lékařských zpráv, které mi klienti dali k dispozici. Výsledky: V průběhu sběru dat bylo zjištěno mnoho rozdílů v životním stylu u pacientů před diagnostikou Crohnovy nemoci a dále pak v jejím průběhu. V obou zkoumaných případech však byly tyto rozdíly podobné. Týkaly se zejména oblasti výživy, fyzické aktivity a psychiky. Závěr: Touto prací bych chtěla poukázat na problematiku pacientů s Crohnovou chorobou a na nutnost individuálního přístupu ke změnám v oblasti životního stylu. Také bych touto prací chtěla přiblížit Crohnovu chorobu veřejnosti, ve které je poměrně neznámou.

Abstract:

Objective: The aim of bachelor´s thesis is to describe by the method of casuistry diference in lifestyle of patients with Crohn´s disease before the diagnosis and after in disease´s process. Methodic: Bachelor´s thesis is divided in two parts. In theoretical part I follow up the characteristics of the disease and I describe it´s causes and symptoms, by which is disease showed up. The next I focus on a treatment like dietotherapy, pharmacological treatment, surgical and biological treatment. The empirical part is compiled by two case reports. Casuistry is a suitable option to show a case. The case reports are focused on the lifestyle of two clients before the diagnosis of Crohn´s disease and later in the disease´s process. Information were collected from interviews with clients. Additional information were recieved from medical notifications, which clients offered to be used. Results: In process of collecting information were found out many differences in lifestyle before the diagnosis of Crohn´s disease and after that. In both examined cases were differences similar. Those differences were mostly about the nutrition, physical aktivity and psyche. Conclusion: I would like to show by this thesis problems of patients with Crohn´s disease and a need of individual approach to changes in their lifestyle. I would also like to apprise the public with Crohn´s disease, because it´s not that much known to public.
