Work-life balance and satisfaction of employees in Non-profit Organization

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou work-life balance, pracovní a životní spokojeností v neziskové organizaci. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda existuje vztah mezi work-life balance, pracovní a životní spokojeností u zdravotnických pracovníků neziskové organizace na základě vyhodnocovaných hypotéz. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny klíčové pojmy a hlavní teoretická východiska v oblasti work- life balance, pracovní spokojenosti a well-beingu, který představuje jednu z velmi významných složek životní spokojenosti. V závěru teoretické části je zmínka o vlivu transformačního leadershipu a budoucím vývoji v oblasti work-life balance a vlivu technologií. V praktické části je představen výzkumný problém a použitá metodika. Následuje stručný popis zkoumané Neziskové Organizace, demografická analýza respondentů a deskripce dat, které vyplývají z provedeného dotazníkového šetření. Na základě těchto dat jsou vyhodnoceny stanovené hypotézy a v rámci diskuse jsou výsledky uvedeny v kontextu dalších výzkumů na zkoumané téma. Závěrem jsou uvedeny limity práce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the work-life balance, work and life satisfaction in a non-profit organization. The aim of the work is to find out whether there is a relationship between work-life balance, work and life satisfaction in health care workers of non-profit organizations on the basis of evaluated hypotheses. The work is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the key concepts and the main theoretical background in the field of work-life balance, job satisfaction and well-being, which is one of the very important components of life satisfaction. At the end of the theoretical part there is a mention of the influence of transformational leadership and future developments in the field of work-life balance and the impact of technology. The practical part presents the research problem and the methodology used. The following is a brief description of the surveyed non-profit organization, demographic analysis of respondents and a description of data that result from the questionnaire survey. Based on these data, the established hypotheses are evaluated and in the discussion the results are presented in the context of further research on the researched topic. Finally, the limits of work are given.
