Organization of the Police of the Czech Republic with a Focus on Selected Region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je rozborem platné právní úpravy a teoretických východisek týkajících se organizační struktury Policie ČR, které aplikuje na organizační strukturu policie v Jihomoravském kraji. Text také stručně shrnuje dosavadní vývoj Policie ČR, věnuje se zařazení institutu policie do systému veřejné správy a dále analyzuje samotnou organizační strukturu PČR. Práce se také zaměřuje na policii v rámci Jihomoravského kraje, zejména na její organizační strukturu a na některá specifika ve srovnání s dalšími kraji v republice. Bakalářská práce rovněž pojednává o práci Policie ČR v rámci většího celku a poukazuje tak na různé vazby PČR s dalšími bezpečnostními sbory v ČR či obcemi a v závěru rozebírá některé nedostatky právní úpravy a navrhuje jejich možná řešení.

Abstract:

This bachelorʼs thesis is an analysis of current legislation and theoretical background concerning the organizational structure of the Police of the Czech Republic, which applies to the organizational structure of the police in the South Moravian Region. In the text is also briefly summarized the current development of the Police of the Czech Republic, deals with the inclusion of the institute of police in the system of public administration and further is analyzed the organizational structure of the Police. The work is also focused on the police within the South Moravian Region, especially on its organizational structure and some specifics in comparison with other regions in the country. This bachelorʼs thesis also deals with the work of the Police of the Czech Republic within a larger unit and thus points out the various ties of the Police with other security forces in the Czech Republic or municipalities. Finally some shortcomings of legislation are discussed and possible solutions are suggested.
