Psychological aspects of social skills practice among children with PAS in a school environment

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je přiblížit psychologické aspekty nácviku sociálních dovedností a sebeobsluhy dětí s PAS s ohledem na zkušenosti pedagogických pracovníků. Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice nácviku a rozvoje sociálních dovedností dětí s PAS ve školním prostředí. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena do tří kapitol, které zahrnují charakteristiku poruch autistického spektra včetně přehledu jednotlivých poruch a etiologie, vývoj dětí se specifiky vývoje dětí s PAS, vzdělávání žáků s PAS, metody a možnosti intervence s ohledem na sociální dovednosti a sebeobsluhu. Výzkumná část práce se zaměřuje na analýzu nácviku sociálních dovedností a sebeobsluhu dětí s PAS v rámci jejich času tráveného ve školním prostředí, přičemž v potaz je brána také vzájemná spolupráce pedagogických pracovníků školy, vliv prostředí i přístup k těmto dětem. Výzkumné šetření bylo založeno na kvalitativní metodologii a bylo realizováno formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pedagogy, asistenty pedagoga a školními vychovateli.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelors thesis is to describe the psychological aspects of social skill practice and self-service of children with PAS in regards to the pedagogical worker's experience. The thesis is focused on the issue of practice and development of social skills of children with PAS in a school environment.The theoretical part of this thesis is separated in three chapters which include the characteristics of autistic disorders, including an overview of individual disorders and etiology, development of children with specific signs of PAS, education of children with PAS, methods and possibilities of intervention out of consideration for social skills and self-service. The practical part is focused on the analysis of practical social skills and of self-service of children with PAS in the school environment, cooperation with the school's pedagogical workers, environmental influence, and the approach to these children. The research was based on qualitative method and conducted via the use of semi-structured interviews with teachers, teacher's assistants and other school educators.
