Bakalářská práce se zaobírá problematikou překládání, osobností spisovatele Jeroma Davida Salingera a překladatelské dvojice manželů Pellarových. Zkoumán je zde jediný román již zmiňovaného autora a to, jak se v originále odráží jeho osobnost. Dále se zaměřuji na ohlasy, které dílo vyvolalo v tehdejší době. This bachelor thesis deals with the problem of translation, with the personality of writer named Jerome David Salinger and also with translational couple of Pellars. The only novel of this author is examined here. The question is how his personality reflects here. There are some contemporary critics and curent critics.
