Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zkoumáním a kvantifikací kvality života pomocí indexu lidského rozvoje převážně v evropských zemích. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. V první části je definována kvalita života a důvody jejího zkoumání. Dále je zmíněn pojem udržitelný rozvoj. This bachelor thesis deals with examination and quantification of quality of life defined by the Human Development Index predominantly in European countries. Thesis is divided into three parts.
