Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to analyse the female perspective in Hjalmar Söderberg’s Doktor Glas, the praised Swedish novel from 1905 which sparked controversy at the time of its release, in comparison with Bengt Ohlsson’s Gregorius (2004), and Helena Sigander’s Dosan (2012), two novels based on Doktor Glas. Tato magisterská diplomová práce se zabývá vyobrazením ženy v románech Doktor Glas (1905) od Hjalmara Söderberga, Gregorius (2004) od Bengta Ohlssona a Dosan (2012) od Heleny Sigander. Cílem práce je analyzovat a popsat způsob, jakým je v jednotlivých dílech prezentována a vnímána hlavní ženská postava, Helga Gregorius, s ohledem na historický a společenský kontext doby, do níž je děj zasazen.
