Abstrakt Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části se práce zabývá problematikou chudoby. Popisuje koncepty chudoby, její důvody a způsoby měření. Je zde zmíněna záchranná sociální síť, jako systém opatření, kterými stát garantuje všem občanům minimální úroveň pomoci při závažných sociálních situacích. Abstract The thesis is divided into theorethical and practical part. The theoretical part is concerned with problem of poverty, describes its concepts, reason and methods of measuring. The social safety net is introduced as a systematic measure where the government guarantees certain minimal level of help in serious social situations.
