Abstract:
The Master’s thesis focuses on China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). It aims to analyse the economic and security aspects of the BRI in the Southeast Asian region. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts; consecutively, China’s foreign policy and BRI implementation in Southeast Asia are analysed and evaluated, including an assessment of selected BRI projects.
