Montessori Pedagogy in Contenporary Czech School

Abstract:

Pedagogika Marie Montessori se řadí mezi alternativní způsoby vzdělávání. V posledních letech se na našem území tento směr rozšířil převážně do mateřských a základních škol. Odlišnost výuky je docílena díky pedagogickým principům, které byly vytvořeny zakladatelkou tohoto směru italskou lékařkou Marií Montessori. Teoretická část je zaměřena na popis principů Montessori pedagogiky. Charakterizována jsou specifika osobnosti žáka, učitele, procesu a obsahu výuky, obohaceného výukového prostředí a didaktického materiálu. Výzkumná část se zabývá analýzou a popisem vybraných principů Montessori pedagogiky tak, jak jsou realizovány ve vybrané základní škole. Reflektovány jsou rovněž názory a postoje učitelů a rodičů k tomuto alternativnímu způsobu vzdělání.

Abstract:

Pedagogy of Marie Montessori is the one of the alternative forms of education. In recent years, this trend has expanded especially to kindergartens and primary schools in our country. The diversity of tutorial is achieved by the pedagogical principles that were created by the founder of this trend ? by Italian doctor Maria Montessori. The theoretical part is focused on the description of Montessori´s pedagogical principles. There are characterized specific features of the student, teacher, process and teaching content which are enriched by learning setting and didactic materials. The research part is concerned with the analysis and description of the respective Montessori´s pedagogical principles as they realized in chosen primary school. Also, there are reflected the opinions and attitudes of teachers and parents to this alternative method of education.
