Abstract:

Stříteská, P. Vliv vstupu nových konkurentů do odvětví distribuce. Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2022. V této bakalářské práci je pozorován vliv vstupu nových konkurentů do oblasti distribuce, konkrétně působení tohoto vlivu na Českou poštu s.p., která ve zmíněném odvětví dlouhou dobu vlastnila monopol. Z nejvýznamnějších konkurentů byla vybrána společnost Professional Parcel Logistic (PPL s.r.o.) a společnost Zásilkovna s.r.o. V práci je využíváno analýzy časových řad metodou nejmenších čtverců prostřednictvím programu Gretl. Z výsledků analýzy je zřejmé, že liberalizací poštovního trhu a následným vstupem nových konkurentů byla Česká pošta výrazně ovlivněna, docházelo ke snižování vybraných ukazatelů a snižování podílu společnosti na celkových hodnotách v oblasti. Součástí práce jsou vytvořené predikce na základě odhadnutých modelů, které poukazují na nepříznivou budoucnost České pošty i v následujících letech. Celková situace v odvětví je však stále příznivá pro nové potencionální konkurenty, i tato skutečnost je pro Českou poštu hrozbou.

The influence of the entry of new competitors into the distribution sector is being observed in this bachelor thesis, specifically the effect of this influence on Česká pošta s.p., which has long held a monopoly in the sector. Companies Professional Parcel Logistic (PPL s.r.o.) and Zásilkovna s.r.o. have been selected among the most important competitors. A time series analysis by the method of least squares done by the Gretl program is being used in this thesis. The results of the analysis show clearly that the liberalization of the postal market and the entry of new competitors affected the Česká pošta significantly, reducing selected indicators and reducing the company's share of the total values in the area. The thesis includes predictions based on estimated models, which point to an unfavourable future of the Česká pošta in the following years. The overall situation in the sector is still favourable for new potential competitors, and this fact also a poses a threat to Česká pošta.
