Abstract:

Má absolventská práce má název: Specifika komunikace s klienty se syndromem demence. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jaká jsou specifika komunikace s klienty se syndromem demence v domovech se zvláštním režimem z pohledu klíčových pracovníků. Klíčoví pracovníci jsou v denním kontaktu s klienty s demencí a jejich vzájemná komunikace je základem pro vykonávání jejich profese. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části teoretickou a praktickou.Teoretická část obsahuje základní pojmy, které jsou uvedeny do čtyř kapitol: syndrom demence, komunikace, individuální plánování a domovy se zvláštním režimem. Kapitoly obsažené v teoretické části korespondují s obsahem praktické části. V praktické části je hledána odpověď na danou výzkumnou otázku. Odpovědi byly získány za využití kvalitativního výzkumu. Pro sběr dat byla použita metoda rozhovoru, který byl proveden s osmi komunikačními partnerkami, které jsou klíčovými pracovnicemi v domovech se zvláštním režimem. Z výzkumu vyplynulo, že v komunikaci s klienty s demencí je důležité přizpůsobit se jejich schopnostem komunikace a respektovat individualitu každého klienta. Klíčový pracovník využívá při práci s klienty s demencí verbální i neverbální komunikaci, rozlišuje jejich vhodné využití a zvolené techniky. Při individuálním plánování je důležitá vzájemná komunikace s klientem i s jeho rodinou.

Abstract:

The name of the thesis is: The specifics of communication with clients with dementia. Its aim is to find out the particularities involved in the communication with clients with dementia in homes with a special regime from the point of view of key workers. The key workers are, on a daily basis, in contact with clients with dementia, and their mutual conversations are the groundwork of their profession.The thesis is divided into two parts: the theoretical part and the practical part.The theoretical part contains four basic concepts which were then developed in these chapters: the dementia syndrome, communication, the individual planning, and homes with special regimes. The chapters contained in the theoretical part correspond to the content of the practical part.In the practical part the thesis seeks to find answers to a given research question, with the help of qualitative research - an interview that was done with eight communication partners, who are the key workers in homes with a special regime.The responses of the communication partners showed that in communication with clients with dementia the highest degree of importance is given to the ability to adapt to the communication skills of the clients and to show respect for each client and their individuality. The key worker uses verbal and nonverbal communication, distinguishes between their appropriate use and selected techniques. In individual planning is important mutual communication with the client and his family.
