CSR of Mobile Phone Operators

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá společenskou odpovědností mobilních operátorů v České republice. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny historické milníky vývoje společenské odpovědnosti. Součástí je také vymezení konceptu CSR, argumentace a oblasti společenské odpovědnosti doplněné o moderní formy CSR. Nedílným elementem této části práce je srovnání společenské odpovědnosti v České republice a na Slovensku, kde jsou porovnány na poli CSR , ocenění pro CSR organizace či výzkumy věnující se oblastem CSR. Praktická část zahrnuje analýzu uplatňování společenské odpovědnosti mobilními operátory, která je následně doplněna o kvantitativní výzkumnou sondu. Závěr práce shrnuje hlavní zjištěné poznatky, přináší ověření formulovaných hypotéz a hodnotí, zda byly dosaženy stanovené cíle práce.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the social responsibility of mobile phone operators in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical section, historical milestones in the development of the social responsibility are listed. It also includes a definition of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), an argumentation and areas of the social responsibility enriched by modern forms of CSR. An integral element of this part of the paper is a comparison of social responsibility in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic. They are compared in the CSR field, CSR company awards or research dedicated to CSR. The practical part includes an analysis of the CSR application by mobile phone operators and it is then supplemented by a quantitative research probe. The conclusion summarizes main findings, brings a verification of the formulated hypotheses and evaluates whether the work objectives were achieved.
