Teambuilding - affect the functionality of the organisation

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o teambuildingu a jeho vlivu na funkčnost organizace. Skládá se ze dvou částí, teoreticko-metodologické a aplikační části. Teoreticko-metodologická část vymezuje základní pojmy a definuje organizaci. Zaměřuje se na popis strukturalizace uvnitř podniku a typy organizačních struktur. Druhý úsek teoreticko-metodologické části podrobně rozebírá teambuilding jako jeden z nástrojů ke zlepšení funkčnosti organizace. V úvodu aplikační části je popsána struktura společnosti ČEZ, a. s. Dále jsou analyzovány vybrané teambuildingové kurzy společnosti ČEZ, a. s. Pro zhodnocení je využito vlastního pozorování a analýzy dotazníků zúčastněných osob, poskytnuté společností ČEZ, a. s. Cílem diplomové práce je navrhnout na základě výsledků navazující teambuildingový kurz, prokázat pozitivní vliv teambuildingu na komunikaci a fungování organizace a zároveň určit, který z pořádaných kurzů je z hlediska funkčnosti útvaru Trading společnosti ČEZ, a. s. nejúčinnější.

Abstract:

The aim of my thesis is a teambuilding and its impact towards an efficiency of the organization. My final project is divided to two parts. First part of the project describes theoretical perspectives and the methodology for better understanding another part which is practical, specifically about the teambuilding in the company ČEZ, a. s. First part defines important concepts related to the teambuilding and the organization. Mainly, it is focused on the structure and types of organization and the teambuilding and its effect for the organization. The teambuilding is perceived like a tool for increasing efficiency of the organization. Practical part is about the company ČEZ, a. s. From point of view of the organization I described basic aspects of structure of the ČEZ, a. s. with regard to the type of the organization. I also analyzed and evaluated some teambuilding’s activities in the company. For my research I gained information from participating observation and I analyzed some results from my research I proposed own teambuilding activities and proved the positive effect of the teambuilding activities for better communication and function inside of the company. Finally I indentified a type of the teambuilding activity which is more suitable for division Trading in ČEZ, a. s.
