Nursing Process in Care of Patient with Ischemic Disease of Lower Extremities

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of nursing care for a patient with the ischemic disease of lower limbs. The aim of the thesis is to create a nursing process in the care of a specific patient with this disease. The work is divided into a practical and a theoretical part. The theoretical part of the work is aimed at the characteristics of the disease, etiology and risk factors, a clinical picture, its diagnosis, treatment and prevention as well. It also analyzes the specifics of nursing care about the patients with the ischemic disease of lower limbs and the roles of nurses in ambulatory, hospital and home nursing care as well as the education of such patients with this disease. The practical part of the work is focused on the development of the nursing process in the care about a specific patient with the ischemic disease of lower limbs, based on the publication NANDA International taxonomy II. On the base of the medical history, nursing diagnoses were chosen, for which the goals of nursing care, nursing interventions, the implementation of nursing care and its evaluation were specified. The information for the elaboration of the nursing process was acquired from an interview with the patient and the nursing staff using the patient's medical documentation.

Abstract:

Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá problematikou ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti o pacienta s ischemickou chorobou dolných končatín. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je vytvorenie ošetrovateľského procesu v starostlivosti o konkrétneho pacienta s daným ochorením. Práca je rozdelená na teoretickú a praktickú časť. Teoretická časť práce je zameraná charakteristiku ochorenia, etiológiu a rizikové faktory, klinický obraz, diagnostiku, liečbu a prevenciu. Ďalej sa zaoberá špecifikami ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti o pacienta s ischemickou chorobou dolných končatín a úlohami sestry v ambulantnej, nemocničnej a domácej ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti ako aj edukáciou pacientov s týmto ochorením. Praktická časť práce sa zaoberá vypracovaním ošetrovateľského procesu v starostlivosti o konkrétnu pacientku s ischemickou chorobou dolných končatín, ktorý vychádza z publikácie NANDA International taxonómia II. Na základe anamnézy boli zvolené ošetrovateľské diagnózy, ku ktorým boli stanovené ciele ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti, ošetrovateľské intervencie, realizácia ošetrovateľskej starostlivosti a jej hodnotenie. Dáta pre vypracovanie ošetrovateľského procesu boli zbierané prostredníctvom rozhovoru s pacientkou a ošetrovateľským personálom a pomocou zdravotníckej dokumentácie pacientky.
