Tato práce se zaměřuje na misijní činnost na Blízkém východě během křížových výprav. Na začátku je pojednáno o definici misie a jejím vývoji a pojmu. Dále se soustřeďuji na genezi misiologie a výchovu misionářů. První kapitolu uzavírá část o náboženské situaci v Palestině předcházející křížovým výpravám a vztahu katolické církve k islámu a judaismu. This work focuses on missionary work in the Middle East during the Crusades. At the beginning we discuss the definition of the mission and the development of a concept. It also concentrates on the genesis of missiology and missionary education.
