Abstract:
The bachelor thesis describes significant immigration waves of the Vietnamese in the United States of America from the second half of 20th century to present. It deals with the gradual integration of the Vietnamese, their position in the American society and typical lifestyle. The emphasis is put on the second generation of the Vietnamese immigrants in the United States.

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje hlavní imigrační vlny Vietnamců do Spojených států amerických od poloviny 20. století až do současnosti. Práce se zabývá postupnou integrací a asimilací Vietnamců, jejich postavením v americké společnosti a typickým způsobem života. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována druhé generaci vietnamských imigrantů žijících ve Spojených státech amerických.
