Legislative changes in the area of building saving and their impact on the financial services infrastructure

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma ?Legislativní úpravy v oblasti stavebního spoření a jejich dopady na infrastrukturu trhu finančního zprostředkování? se zabývá charakteristikou stavebního spoření v České republice, dopadem legislativních změn na jeho atraktivitu a odhadem možných scénářů budoucího vývoje. Úvodní část poskytuje obecnou charakteristiku stavebního spoření a stručný přehled o fungování systému stavebního spoření ve světě. V další části shrnuji přehled legislativního vývoje v oblasti stavebního spoření a předpokládané změny, které by mohly ovlivnit jeho budoucí vývoj. Analýza dopadů legislativních změn přináší bližší pohled na skutečnost, že stavební spoření je jako finanční produkt velmi citlivé na stabilitu vnějších podmínek. Výsledkem dopadu nově navrhovaných legislativních změn by mohla být transformace stavebních spořitelen, s následným dopadem na možnost poskytování stavebního spoření komerčními bankami.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis ?Legislative changes in the area of building saving and their impact on the financial services infrastructure? provides the characteristic of the building saving in the Czech Republic, the impact of legislative changes to its attractiveness and the analysis of the possible scenarios of future development. The introductory part provides general characteristic of building saving and summary of building saving system in other countries. In the next part I summarize the legislative development in the area of building saving and expected changes which could affect its future development. The Analysis of legislative impact provides a closer view at the fact that building saving as a financial product is dependent on external conditions of stability. The result of expected legislative changes could be the transformation of building society and the possibility to provide building saving by commercial banks.
