Financial analysis of Travel Service, a.s.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na finanční analýzu společnosti Travel Service, a.s. mezi roky 2011 až 2014. Je rozdělena do dvou základních částí, metodické a praktické. V metodické části je popsán předmět a význam finanční analýzy, absolutní metoda a poměrové ukazatele a také komplexní modely, které zahrnují bonitní a bankrotní modely. Praktická část obsahuje představení společnosti, která je analyzována, její historii a vývoj. Poté je zde provedena praktická finanční analýza společnosti na konkrétních ukazatelích podniku. V závěru práce se objeví zhodnocení finančního zdraví a hospodářské situace společnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on financial analysis of the company Travel Service, a.s. concerning the period from 2011 to 2014. The thesis is divided into two basic parts, methodical and practical. Methodical part contains explanation of the subject and importance of financial analysis, absolute method and financial ratio analysis and also complex models which include credit scoring models and bankruptcy models. Practical part consists of analysed company introduction, of the outline of its history and development. Then there is the practical company financial analysis based on the specific enterprise indicators. In the end of the thesis, there appears evaluation of financial health and economic situation of the company.
