Abstract:

Anotace Název práce: Podmínky participace osob s mentálním postižením na komunitním plánování Autor: Bc. Zuzana Kubínková Vedoucí práce: prof. PhDr. Libor Musil, CSc. Instituce: Masarykova univerzita v Brně, Fakulta sociálních studií Počet slov: 20 088 Počet slov základního textu: 18 394 Tato diplomová práce se zabývá participací osob s mentálním postižením na komunitním plánování ve vybraném městě. Cílem práce je odhalit, za jakých podmínek osoby s mentálním postižením participují na komunitním plánování sociálních služeb ve vybraném městě. V teoretické části práce jsou definovány základní pojmy jako participace, sociální služby, komunita, komunitní práce, komunitní plánování, osoby s mentálním postižením, psychické procesy a obsahy osob s mentálním postižením, faktory prostředí. Část metodologická popisuje metodu výzkumu, strategii výzkumu, techniku získávání dat, způsob interpretace dat, vymezení jednotky zkoumání a jednotky zjišťování, operacionalizaci a etické zásady rozhovoru. Empirická část představuje interpretaci získaných dat, které byly získány od třinácti respondentů za použití techniky nestrukturovaného rozhovoru. Z autonomních spontánních výroků respondentů byly identifikovány jako omezující psychické procesy myšlení, vnímání, pozornost a učení. Jako podporující byla zmíněna schopnost osob s mentálním postižením verbálně či neverbálně komunikovat a schopnost vyjádřit svůj názor, přání nebo nápad. Kompenzujícími faktory jsou lidské zdroje, informace a rovný přístup. Nekompenzujícími faktory jsou: nízké očekávání od osob s mentálním postižením, mentální postižení jako přímá bariéra participace, přezíravé chování odborníků nebo jiných členů triády a jazyk a terminologie. Diplomová práce je zakončená závěrem shrnujícím výzkumná zjištění společně s nastíněním případných doporučení. Závěr práce je věnován zodpovězení hlavní výzkumné otázky a doporučením pro další výzkumy a praxi.

Annotation Thesis title: Conditions of participation of persons with mental disabilities in community planning Author: Bc. Zuzana Kubínková Academic supervisor: prof. PhDr. Libor Musil, CSc. Institution: Masaryk University, Faculty of Social Studies Word count: 20 088 Basic word count: 18 394 This thesis deals with the participation of mentally handicapped people on community planning in a selected city. The aim of the work is to reveal conditions under which the mentally handicapped people participate on community planning of social services in a selected city. In the theoretical part of this thesis, the basic terms are defined. This involves participation, social services, community, community work, community planning mentally handicapped people, psychological processes and contents of mentally handicapped people and environmental factors The part of the thesis focussing on methodology describes the research method, research strategy, technique of data collecting, the way of data interpretation, definition of research measuring unit and investigation unit, operationalization and ethical principles of the interview. From autonomous spontaneous statements of the respondents were thinking, perception, concentration and learning identified as limiting. The mentally handicapped people's ability to communitate their opinion, wish or idea was mentioned as supporting. The compensation factors are human sources, information and fair approach. Non-compensation factors are: low expectations from mentally handicapped people, mental handicap as the direct participation barrier, dismissive behaviour of experts or other triade's members and the language of a terminology. The thesis conclusion summarizes research results together with the outline of potential recommendations. The conclusion of the thesis concentrates on answering the main research question and recommendations for farther research and practise.
