The view of university students on gender mainstreaming

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou gender mainstreaming, vnímáním rovných příležitostí pro muže a ženy mladou generací. První kapitoly jsou věnovány teoretickému vymezení základních pojmů: gender, pohlaví, genderová role, genderová identita či genderové stereotypy. Více jsou rozvedeny genderové stereotypy vyskytující se v různých oblastech, například na trhu práce v celosvětovém měřítku. Ve shodě s tématem práce jsou v teoretické části zařazeny historické souvislosti a současné pojetí gender mainstreaming. Výzkumná část práce seznamuje s empirickým šetřením, s jeho cílem, použitou metodou, výzkumným souborem a statistickou analýzou dat. Výzkum je zaměřen na zjištění názorů vysokoškolských studentů na gender mainstreaming.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with gender mainstreaming , the perception of equal opportunities for men and women by the younger generation. The first chapters are devoted to the theoretical definition of basic concepts: gender, gender, gender role, gender identity or gender stereotypes. In more detail are described the gender stereotypes occurring in various areas, such as the labor market on a global scale. In keeping with the theme of bachelor thesis in the theoretical part is included historical context and the current concept of gender mainstreaming. The research part presents the empirical investigation, objective of the thesis, the method used, research sample and statistical analysis of data. The research is aimed at identifying the views of university students on gender mainstreaming.
