Acts of Indiscipline from the Perspective of a Primary School Teacher

Abstract:

Nekázeň je považována za běžnou součást výuky a školních dnů, proto cílem diplomové práce je odkrýt, jak učitelé vnímají nekázeň žáků na prvním stupni základní školy. Teoretická část objasňuje východiska nekázně a problémového žáka. Na vzorku deseti učitelů byl realizován výzkum prostřednictvím metod pozorování a rozhovoru, který odhalil subjektivní pohledy na problematiku nekázně. Zjištění předkládají angažovanou práci učitelů s nekázní, ale zároveň nerespektování individuálních zvláštností žáků. Projevy nekázně nerozlišují s ohledem na žáky, ale staví na vlastních zkušenostech, dlouholeté praxi a své osobní hranici tolerance.

Abstract:

Indiscipline is considered a common part of teaching and school days, so the aim of this thesis is to uncover how teachers perceive student indiscipline in the first stage of elementary school. The theoretical part clarifies the basis of indiscipline and problematic students. A sample of ten teachers was studied through observation and interviews, which revealed subjective views on the issue of indiscipline. The findings present the committed work of teachers with indiscipline but also the lack of respect for individual student peculiarities. They do not distinguish expressions of indiscipline based on students but rather on their own experience, long-term practice, and personal tolerance limit.
