Ethics in business as competitive advantage

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je etika v podnikání jako konkurenční výhoda. V teoreticko-metodologické části definuji pojem etika, objasňuji její historický vývoj a vztah morálky a etiky. Dále se zabývám podnikatelskou a manažerskou etikou, klíčovou rolí manažera, principy a nástroji etického řízeni a významem etiky v managementu a podnikání. V praktické části představuji hotel Augustus Et Otto. Pomoci dotazníkového šetřeni zjišťuji jaké jsou vztahy mezí vedením hotelu a zaměstnanci, a jaké mají zákaznici vztahy s touto firmou. Ukazují, že firma má uspokojující úroveň etického chování. Cílem diplomové práce bude předložit návrhy a doporučení k maximálnímu využití etického chování jako konkurenční výhody firmy na trhu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with ethics in business as a competitive advantage. In the theoretical section I define the notion of ethics, explain its historical development and the relationship of morality and ethics. I also deal with business and management ethics, the key role of manager, principles and tools of ethical management and the importance of ethics in management and business. In the practical part I present hotel Augustus Et Otto. Using a questionnaire survey, I find what the relationship between the hotel management and staff, and what relationships customers have with this company. It shows that the company has a satisfactory level of ethical behavior.
