The professional role of social workers of family and marriage counselling service

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá profesní rolí sociálních pracovnic rodinných a manželských poraden, která není jasně definovaná. Role sociální pracovnice je v základu tvořena znalostmi, dovednostmi a osobnostními předpoklady sociální pracovnice, očekáváním vedoucích pracovníků a zřizovatele služby i kolegů v pracovním týmu, představami a potřebami klientů a povahou služby, kterou pracovnice nabízí. Každá poradna má svoje specifikum a s tím souvisí i pojetí profesní role sociální pracovnice. Cílem této diplomové práce je odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: „Jak sociální pracovnice rodinných a manželských poraden interpretují svoji současnou profesní roli v kontextu tzv. malých paradigmat sociální práce?“ V teoretické části diplomové práce je popsáno prostředí rodinné a manželské poradny, přiblížena sociální pracovnice rodinné a manželské poradny a její činnost, vymezena paradigmata sociální práce a definována profesní role, typologie rolí a pojem interpretace. Empirická část obsahuje metodologii výzkumu, operacionalizaci do dílčích výzkumných otázek a interpretaci dat zjištěných výzkumem.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis is focused on professional role of social workers of family and marriage counselling services, which is not exactly specified. The role of social worker consists of knowledge, skills and personal assumptions of social worker, expectations of executive and service provider, colleagues in working team, ideas and needs of clients, which are offered by social worker. Every counselling service is specific and it is connected with professional role of social worker. The aim of diploma thesis is to find answer to the main research question: „How social workers of family and marriage counselling services interpret their present professional role in the context of small paradigms of social work?“ There is described environment of family and marriage counselling service, activities of family and marriage social worker, defined paradigms of social work and professional role, role´s typology and the concept of interpretation in theoretical part of diploma thesis. Empirical part is then focused on methodology of research, operationalization to the partial research questions and interpretations of research results.
