Preventing reality shock in future primary school teachers

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem šoku z reality u studentů učitelství prvního stupně základní školy. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda je možné sledovat a analyzovat šok z reality již u studentů-budoucích učitelů. I v období profesního startu vstupují budoucí učitelé do reálného prostředí školy, a proto v centru zájmu diplomové práce bylo sledování jejich počáteční profesionalizace. Práce má empirický charakter. V teoretické části se autorka věnuje sumarizaci poznatků o konceptu šoku z reality. Ve výzkumné části jsou prezentována zjištění výzkumu, který byl realizován mezi studenty - budoucími učiteli, prostřednictvím analýzy jejich reflektivních deníků. Zjištění byla doplněna rozhovorem ve focusové skupině. V závěru práce jsou interpretovány a porovnány výsledky výzkumu.

Abstract:

The master's thesis deals with the topic of reality shock in students in the field of teaching for the first stage of primary schools. The thesis aims to determine whether it is possible to monitor and analyze the shock of reality already in students - future teachers. Even during the professional start, future teachers enter the school's actual environment, and therefore the focus was to monitor their initial professionalization. The thesis has an empirical character. The author summarizes the knowledge about the concept of shock from reality in the theoretical part. The research part presents the research outcomes that were conducted among students - future teachers by analyzing their reflective diaries. An interview in a focus group supplemented the results. In the conclusion of the thesis, the research results are interpreted and compared.
