Evaluation of environmental education, education and awarness (EVVO) of the second level of elementary school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu environmentální výchovy, osvěty a vzdělávání (EVVO) na druhém stupni základních škol v České republice. Práce se skládá z teoretické části, která uvádí čtenáře do problematiky environmetální výchovy a části praktické, která je seznámí s vlastními postoji žáků. Teoretická část práce se zabývá představením konceptu EVVO, jeho implementaci v rámci rámcového a školního vzdělávacího programu. Zájem je směřován také k historickému vniku EVVO a jeho dalšímu vývoji. Významnou částí práce je tvorba a distribuce dotazníků mezi žáky druhého stupně základních škol, jejímž hlavním cílem bylo zhodnotit jejich povědomí a postoj k tématům spojeným s ochranou životního prostředí. Analýza dotazníkového šetření ukazuje, že žáci projevují zájem o tato témata, zároveň ale nejsou dostatečně informováni o této problematice. Naznačuje to však potenciál dalšího vývoje environmentální výchovy v rámci výuky na druhém stupni základních škol.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of environmental education, awareness and education (EVVO) at the second level of primary school in the Czech Republic. The thesis consists of a theoretical part that introduces the Reader to the issues of environmental education and a practical part that introduces the students own attitudes. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the introduction of the concept of EVVO, its implementation within the framework and school curriculum. Interest is also directed towards the historical emergence of EVVO and its further development. An important part of the thesis is the development and distribution of questionnaires among second grade pupils of primary school, the main aim of which was to assess their awareness and attitude towards environmental protection issues. The analysis of the questionnaire survey shows that pupils show interest in these topics, but at the same time they are not sufficiently informed about this issue. However, this indicates the potential for further development of environmental education in the context of teaching at the second level of primary schools.
