Establishing the accounting schedule as the fundamental moment and requirement of effective cooperation between accountant and manager

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá nedostatečnou propojeností manažera a účetního, která se v dnešní době u malých podniků velmi často vyskytuje. Cílem této práce je především pomocí metody dotazování a vlastních zkušeností najít cestu pro efektivní komunikaci mezi manažerem a účetním. Teoretická část se zabývá rolí účetního a manažera a vysvětluje nastavení účtového rozvrhu. Praktická část se skládá z dotazníkového šetření a praktické ukázky efektivní úpravy účtového rozvrhu podle potřeb manažera.V diplomové práci jsem dospěla k závěru, že jedním z důvodů neefektivní spolupráce manažera a účetního může být nedostatečná informovanost manažera ohledně možnosti úprav účtového rozvrhu. Ty by poté zajistily vyšší informační hodnotu dat, které manažeři od svých účetních získávají.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the lack of interconnection between manager and accountant, which is nowadays very common in small companies. The goal of this thesis is to find the way for effective communication between manager and accountant, mainly using the own experiences and method of questioning. The theoretical part is focused on the role of accountant and manager. It also explains the setting of accounting schedule. The practical part consists of questioning and practical demonstration of effective adjustment of the accounting schedule, according to the needs of the manager.I have concluded that one of the reasons of ineffective cooperation between the manager and the accountant may be absence of the manager’s awareness about the arrangement possibilities of accounting schedule. This arrangement should provide a higher information value for data, that managers can obtain and evaluate from their accountants.
