Abstract:

Účelem této disertační práce je studium hlavních rozdílů mezi účetními systémy obou zemí a jejich přístupem k problému změny klimatu. Účetnictví již dlouho hraje důležitou roli při poskytování reportingových a auditorských služeb, ale v posledních letech se stále více věnuje pozornost tomu, jak podniky a kapitálové trhy reagují na globální změnu klimatu. Vzhledem k tomu, že klimatické riziko má přímý dopad na finanční stabilitu podniku, je nesmírně důležité pochopit, jak účetní systémy v různých zemích zohledňují problémy se změnou klimatu. Disertační práce bude věnována dvěma zemím, z nichž každá má svůj vlastní účetní systém, aby provedla srovnávací analýzu jejich přístupů ke změně klimatu. Studie prozkoumá různé politické, ekonomické a sociální situace v každé zemi, aby lépe pochopila, jak se zabývají změnou klimatu ve svých účetních systémech. Disertační práce je ve skutečnosti zaměřena na analýzu základních rozdílů mezi účetními systémy obou zemí a na to, jak se vyrovnávají se změnou klimatu. Výsledky studie mohou zemím pomoci posílit jejich účetní systémy, aby lépe reagovaly na výzvy, které přináší globální změna klimatu.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the primary differences between two countries' accounting systems and how they approach the issue of climate change. Accounting has long played an important role in providing reporting and auditing services, but there has been an increasing emphasis in recent years on how businesses and capital markets respond to global climate change. Because climate risk has a direct impact on business financial stability, it is critical to understand how different countries' accounting systems include climate change issues. The thesis will focus on two countries, each with its own accounting system, in order to perform a comparative analysis of their approaches to climate change. The study will consider each country's various political, economic, and social situations to better understand how they tackle climate change in their accounting systems. In essence, the thesis seeks to analyze the fundamental distinctions between two countries' accounting systems and how they deal with climate change. The study's findings can help countries strengthen their accounting systems in order to better meet the concerns of global climate change.
