Concepts of Social Education in the Czech Republic (analysis and comparison of different concepts used on selected universitites)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Studijní obor Sociální pedagogika a jeho pojetí v rámci České republiky“ se zabývá analýzou a komparací pojetí oborů na vybraných univerzitách. Toto pojetí není jednotné a koncepce studijního oboru se od sebe liší. Cílem diplomové práce je tedy definovat nosné pilíře tohoto studijního oboru, společné a odlišné tematické akcenty studia a představit jednotlivé studijní obory vybraných univerzit prostřednictvím studijních portrétů. Teoretická část definuje a vymezuje sociální pedagogiku jako takovou, její pojetí a kulturně historický kontext jejího vývoje. Dále ji představuje jako vědní i studijní obor. Závěrem teoretické části jsou uvedeny požadavky akreditační komise na schválení žádostí k akreditaci studijního oboru, což se stává odrazovým můstkem pro další část práce. V rámci empirické části byla provedena konceptuální analýza jednotlivých studijních oborů v rámci zkoumaného souboru. Jako dílčí cíl vznikly portréty studijních oborů, které mají za úkol představit možnosti studia Sociální pedagogiky v České republice a zdůraznit společné a odlišné tematické akcenty studia na vybraných univerzitách. Tyto portréty byly podrobeny komparaci, jejímž cílem bylo definování nosných pilířů studijního oboru Sociální pedagogika, které by měly pomoci definovat základnu studijního oboru Sociální pedagogika při samotné koncepci studia.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis „Concepts of Social pedagogy in the Czech Republic“ deals with analysis and comparison of the different concepts used at sampled from universitites. This concept is not unified. The aim of the thesis is to define the supporting pillars of this field of study, and the different subject accents of study. The presentation of a portraits of the studies from selected universities are mentioned as well. The social pedagogy, its concept, cultural context of its historical development and sciential and field of study aspects are defined and specified in the theoretical part of thesis. The requirements of the Accreditation Commission for approval of applications for accreditation of the field of study are enclosed as well and they become the springboard for the next partof the thesis. The conceptual analysis of study subjects in the surveyed file was implemented in the empirical part of the thesis. As a sub-aim were created a portraits of these fields of study, which may present possibilities for social studies pedagogy in the Czech Republic and emphasize common theme and different accents of study at sampled from the universities. These portraits were subjected to comparison with the aim define the main pillars of Social Pedagogy, which should help to define the basic field of study Social Pedagogy in the concept study.
