Project teaching of regional history on the example of Vnorovy

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá regionálními dějinami a projektovou výukou, konkrétně využitím projektové metody k výuce regionálních dějin. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části jsou rozebírány regionální dějiny z hlediska uplatnění ve výuce, práce se zaměřuje také na úskalí jejich výuky, ale také na jejich přednosti, jež vedou k aktivizaci žáka a k prohloubení jeho komplexních vědomostí o regionu, v němž žije. Dále je v teoretické části pojednáváno o projektové metodě a výuce v projektech. Práce upozorňuje také na to, že ačkoli v dnešní době jsou projekty velmi oblíbené, ne vše, co je nazýváno projektem skutečně projektovou výukou je. V praktické části byl zrealizován jednodenní projekt určený pro žáky 9. ročníku, který se týkal především historie obce Vnorovy, v níž žáci navštěvují základní školu a jenž propojuje poznatky nejen historické, ale i poznatky z oblasti literatury, geografie, biologie i etnografie a jazyka. Výsledným výstupem projektu poté byly informační tabule určené pro turisty i obyvatele obce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with regional history and project teaching, specifically with the use of the project method to teach regional history. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part analyses regional history in terms of the use in teaching, the work also focuses on the difficulties of their teaching, but also on their advantages, which lead to pupil activation and deepening his comprehensive knowledge of the region in which he or she lives. Furthermore, the theoretical part analyses the project method and teaching in projects. The thesis also points out that although projects are very popular nowadays, not everything that is called a project really is project teaching. In the practical part, a one-day project was designed for pupils of the 9th grade, which refered mainly to the history of the village of Vnorovy, where pupils attend elementary school and which combines not only historical knowledge but also knowledge of literature, geography, biology and ethnography and language. The resulting output of the project was then information boards designated for tourists and residents of the village.
